IFEZ and Ace Construction Conclude MOU
for Cooperation on Construction of High-Tech Knowledge Industry Center
The High-Tech Knowledge Industry Center will be constructed within the IHP Urban High-Tech Industrial Complex in Cheongna International City. In April, IFEZ concluded an MOU with Ace Construction, one of Korea’s leading companies in the construction of knowledge industry centers, to work in partnership for the project. With the signing of this MOU, the two parties agreed to cooperate and jointly support the IHP Urban High-Tech Industrial Complex project in Cheongna International City through the construction of the center.
Ace Construction plans to invest approximately KRW 150 billion to build the center across an area of 15,787㎡ within the IHP Urban High-Tech Industrial Complex site by May 2021. The center will be occupied by over 460 companies related to the Fourth Industrial Revolution, and create more than 2,600 jobs. Work on the construction of facilities for high-tech companies such as Hyundai Movex, AIT, and Korea Flowmeter within the IHP Urban High-Tech Industrial Complex is set to begin this year. Once completed, the High-Tech Knowledge Industry Center is expected to bring together a multitude of high-tech and R&D companies for greater synergy.
